Why I Built Deecliq — The Story No One Asked For, But I Need to Tell
It started with frustration. A late night, a stubborn PDF, and the question: why does this have to be so hard?
It was 2 AM. I had a PDF I needed to merge with another file. Simple task. I went to the first site that showed up on Google — waited for the upload, waited for the processing, then hit a paywall. Fine, next site. Upload again. This one had a file size limit I hit immediately. Third site — worked, but the output was corrupted.
I sat back in my chair and thought: I build things. Why am I letting bad tools waste my time?
That was the moment Deecliq was born — not from a business plan or a market gap analysis. It was born from pure, personal frustration.
I wanted tools that just work. No fake "free" tiers that stop you at the worst moment. No bloated UIs that make a simple task feel like filing a tax return. No five-step processes for something that should take ten seconds.
So I started building. One tool at a time, one weekend at a time. This blog is me documenting that journey — the wins, the failures, the 3 AM debugging sessions, and everything in between.
Welcome to Deecliq. I hope it saves you the frustration it saved me.
